The valve design ensures the pump stalls against pressure, making it a reliable system pump. It starts and stops "on demand" in response to the opening and closing of a remote dispensing valve. Inlet valves are positioned at the top, while outlet valves are at the bottom of the pump. Diaphragm pumps are ideal for pumping contaminated fluids or fluids with suspended particles. The bottom placement of the outlet valves helps flush solids out of the wet chambers, preventing them from settling.
