Samoa Pressure Relief Valve 1/8" BSP (Male) – 60 Bar is a critical safety component designed to protect lubrication and fluid systems from overpressure damage. When mounted directly to the pump body, this valve automatically releases excess pressure caused by thermal expansion or system overload, helping to prevent seal failure, hose damage, and component wear. With an approximate opening pressure of 60 bar, the valve activates reliably under excessive pressure conditions. It is especially important in closed lubrication systems, where even a 1 °C temperature increase can raise system pressure by up to 10 bar. By safely relieving pressure, this valve ensures system longevity and operational safety. The valve allows flexible oil return options, supporting either a 1/4" hose secured with a clamp or a hose fitted with a 1/8" BSP (female) connection, making it easy to integrate into existing installations.
